Saudi Arabian Airlines (Saudia) signed six agreements between the group and its companies on one hand, and several major international specialized companies, on the first day of its participation in the Dubai Airshow.

This included an agreement between Prince Sultan Aviation Academy and Airbus to train cabin crews in addition to maintenance and management work training, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.

It also included an agreement between Saudia and Airbus on sustainability initiatives, and the signing of an agreement between flyadeal and GE Aviation to maintain CFM56-5B engines operating 11 of its fleet.

The deals also included signing of three agreements by Saudi Aerospace Engineering Industries (SAEI) with Honeywell, THALES and LEONARDO, under which SAEI will become a certified global maintenance center.
