Saudi Arabia records 5,499 COVID-19 cases on Thursday

Saudi Arabia recorded 5,499 COVID-19 cases today, Jan. 13, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 599,044, the Ministry of Health stated.

 

Recoveries reached 2,978, raising the total number of recovered cases to 555,035 (93% of total COVID-19 cases).

 

The Kingdom reported two new deaths, with the death toll standing at 8,901.

 

Saudi Arabia conducted nearly 160,590 new tests, while the number of vaccine doses increased to 53.36 million.
