Saudi Cabinet approves cooperation agreement between tourism ministry, UNWTO

The Saudi Cabinet, in a meeting chaired by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, approved today, Jan. 25, a cooperation agreement between the Ministry of Tourism and the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) to develop human capacities through e-learning.

 

The Cabinet also approved to discuss the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Jamaica’s Ministry of tourism, Saudi Press Agency reported.

 

Moreover, an MoU was approved between the Saudi and Kuwaiti governments to encourage direct investment.

 

A memorandum of cooperation is also under discussion with the Malaysian government on the Halal certification of local products.
