International rig count fall in March: Baker Hughes

The international rig count decreased by eight units month-on-month (MoM) in March, bringing the total count to 1,661, data of energy services firm Baker Hughes showed.

 

The international rig count, except for the US and Canada, rose by two units to 815 MoM.

 

The oil rigs in the Middle East jumped by 16 MoM to 303 and 42 year-on-year (YoY).

 

The gas rig count across the world rose by 56 to 1,504 in October, compared with 1,448 in September.
