Nazaha investigates 161 suspects in administrative, criminal cases in May

The Oversight and Anti-Corruption Authority (Nazaha) investigated 161 suspects in criminal and administrative cases in May 2022.

 

In addition, 41 persons were arrested and some were released during the same month, as per the Criminal Procedures Law.

 

On its official Twitter account, the authority stated that it carried out 3,835 inspection rounds, which resulted in the investigation of some suspects and the arrest of others on charges of bribery, forgery, abuse of power, and money laundering.

 

The suspects are employees at the Ministry of Defense, Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Health, as well as Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing.
