OPEC+ agreed today, June 30, to increase oil output in August, with members supporting the production adjustment plan announced earlier this month.

During the fifth meeting since the Russia-Ukraine crisis, the group decided to raise oil production by 648,000 barrels per day (bpd) in August.

The statement issued by OPEC+ earlier today indicated that member nations will hold their forthcoming meeting on Aug. 3, 2022.
