Wataniya Insurance reappoints Hussein Akiel as Chairman, Faisal Charara as Vice Chairman

Wataniya Insurance Co. announced reappointing Hussein Akiel as Chairman and Faisal Charara as Vice Chairman for the three-year term starting April 26, 2022, according to a filing to Tadawul today, Sept. 6.

 

The appointments came after the company obtained a non-objection from the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) on Sept. 5, and the board of directors’ approval on July 19.

 

The insurer also announced the formation of the executive, investment, risk management, as well as nomination and remuneration committees.
