Makkah Construction says unable to disclose full-year financials on time

Makkah Construction and Development Co. announced that it failed to publish its financial results for the fiscal year ended June 13, 2022 on the Saudi Exchange (Tadawul) within the specified time.

 

The delay was due to the non-completion of requirements of the audit process by the external auditor.

 

The company said that an official email was received today, Sept. 7, from the external auditor, asking for additional requirements for the audit. The auditor will not be able to complete the review process tomorrow, Sept. 8, the deadline for legal publication.

 

Makkah Construction will announce any developments in this regard in due course.

 

The procedures for suspending the trading of listed securities will be applied in accordance with the listing rules approved by the Capital Market Authority.
