SAMA Governor says Saudi inflation still within reasonable rate

Inflation in Saudi Arabia is still within reasonable levels, said Fahad Al-Mubarak, Governor of the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA), during the meeting of the board of governors of Arab central banks and monetary institutions.

The local economy continued to achieve robust growth rates, Al-Mubarak said, adding that the unemployment rate among Saudis also continued to decline.

The governor pointed out that the geopolitical tensions and relevant effects weighed on supply chains, leading to the growing price pressures that impacted energy and food prices.
