NADEC board approves restructuring committees

National Agricultural Development Co.’s (NADEC) board of directors issued a resolution, on Oct. 6, to restructure its committees.

The executive committee was restructured, to include three non-executive members, Abdulaziz Saleh Al Rebdi as Chairman, Ahmed Saud Shahini, and Bader Abdulrahman Al Sayari, as well as Abdulaziz Mohammad Al Rugaib (independent) and Solaiman Abdulaziz Altwaijri (executive).  

The board also restructured the remuneration and nominations committee to comprise Amr Abdulaziz Al Jallal as Chairman and Ibrahim Mohammed Al Amer (independent), and Abdulateef Abdullah Al Rajhi (non-executive).  

Meanwhile, the audit committee was re-formed to include Ahmed Shahini (non-executive), Ibrahim Mohammed Al Amer (independent) and Ammr Khaled Kurdi (external member).  

Accordingly, the company approved to re-form the board committees starting from Oct. 6 until the end of the current term on April 10, 2024, the firm said in a bourse statement.  

The board approval regarding the audit committee is not final and the appointments will be presented to the upcoming meeting of the general assembly for approval, the statement added.
