Saudi Minister of Transport approves Executive Regulations of Postal Services Law

Saleh Al-Jasser, Minister of Transport and Logistics Services and Chairman of the Public Transport Authority, approved the Executive Regulations of the Postal Services Law, Umm Al Qura newspaper reported.

 

This aims to regulate the sector, create a competitive environment for companies, contribute to the growth of e-commerce, develop the logistics postal services sector, as well as improve customer experience with the postal services sector in the Kingdom.

 

Under the law, the authority sets the financial consideration for license categories and renewals, provided that the consideration is proportional to the postal service and the type of license. 

 

The postal services fees should also be fair in order to provide an attractive environment for investment in the sector.
