Saudi mining sector ambitions go global: Almudaifer

Saudi Arabia’s ambitions in mining and minerals industry go beyond the local market. The Kingdom seeks to contribute to regional and global development, said Khalid Almudaifer, Vice Minister for Mining Affairs, Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources.

 

In a statement, the ministry affirmed that the Kingdom is aware of the role it can play to meet the global needs for minerals in the future.

 

Moreover, Saudi Arabia is conscious to its leadership role in the region that shares with the Kingdom both the mining field privileges and challenges.

 

According to data compiled by Argaam, the second edition of the Future Minerals Forum will be held on Jan. 10-12.

 

The forum is a comprehensive international platform that provides an opportunity for mining sector investors, companies and concerned parties worldwide to meet and learn all about the emerging mining region’s potential and opportunities. This besides discussing ways to build up a sustainable mining industry.
