Saudi Entertainment Ventures (SEVEN), a wholly owned subsidiary of the Public Investment Fund (PIF), announced starting construction work on its new entertainment destination in Madinah, at a cost of SAR 1.3 billion.

Construction is underway on site, in cooperation with BUJV, a joint venture by Al Bawani Co. Ltd. and UrbaCon Trading & Contracting that was appointed to carry out the construction works, according to a statement today, July 31.

SEVEN’s entertainment destination, located next to Madinah-based King Fahad Central Park that will intertwine with the new project to share common open spaces, will cover a development area of over 100,000 square meters (sqm), with a total built-up area of more than 84,000 sqm.

Visitors seeking fun-filled family immersive experiences can choose from world-class rides installed across a 4,000-sqm family entertainment center, the statement added.

SEVEN is investing more than SAR 50 billion in establishing and operating 21 fully-fledged entertainment destinations, comprising more than 150 recreational areas across 14 of the Kingdom’s cities, according to Argaam's data.
