Horizon Food receives shareholders’ letter seeking dismissal of 2 board members

Horizon Food Co. invited its shareholders to vote on the dismissal of two board members during the ordinary general meeting (OGM) that will be held on Sept. 5, according to a statement on Tadawul. 

 

This includes Chairman and Non-Independent Board Member Alwaleed Alshathri and Mohammed Bidayel (independent member). 

 

If approved, shareholders will also elect two board members to fill the vacant board seats, the statement added. 

 

In March, the company received a letter from some shareholders owning more than 10% of capital, calling for a general assembly meeting to vote on dismissing two current board members, Argaam reported.
