Sadara says parent company's CEO resigns

Sadara Basic Services Co. announced that the board of directors of its parent company, Sadara Chemical Co. accepted today, Aug. 31, the resignation of CEO Yahya Abu Shal, effective as of August 31, 2023, according to a statement to Tadawul.

 

The resignation came as Abu Shal is assuming new responsibilities, it added.

 

Sadara Chemical's board of directors also appointed Fayez Al Sharef as CEO, effective as of September 1, 2023.
