KEIR wins 2 contracts worth SAR 302 mln from National Grid

KEIR International Co. received two award letters from National Grid SA on Oct. 1, pertaining to connecting Al-Nazim Bulk Supply Point (BSP) and Al-Aridh BSP with the 132-kilovolt (KV) network in Riyadh.

 

The total value of the contracts is SAR 302 million, including 15% VAT, KEIR said in a statement to Tadawul, adding the expected date of signing for both is Nov. 20, 2023.

 

The Al-Nazim BSP contract, valued at SAR 253.2 million, includes work on high-voltage underground cables 132KV network expansion, gas insulated switchgear (GIS) substation extension, protection, telecommunication and substation automation for remote ends.

 

The Al-Aridh BSP contract, valued at SAR 48.85 million, comprises work on extension of high-voltage underground cables, protection, telecommunication, supervisory control & data acquisition (SCADA), and substation automation.

 

There are no related parties to the contracts, KEIR said.
