Eastern Cement reappoints Mohammed Al Farraj as Chairman

Eastern Province Cement Co.’s board of directors decided on Feb. 4 to reappoint Mohammed Al Farraj as Chairman, Ibrahim Al Ruwais as Vice Chairman, and Saad Al Hawas as board secretary, according to a statement to Tadawul.

The board also formed the audit, nomination and remunerations, and executive committees.

Ibrahim Al Ruwais was named Chairman of the audit committee, which has three members: Waleed Al Jaafari, Faisal Al Salloum, and Khalid Al Sulaia.

Abdulaziz Al Khanin was appointed Chairman of the nomination and remunerations committee, which has three members: Waleed Al Jaafari, Saad Al Hogail, and Fawaz Al Omran.

Mohammed Al Farraj was named Chairman of the executive committee, which includes Ibrahim Al Ruwais, Faisal Al Salloum, Abdullah Al-Baiz, and Fahad Al Otaibi as members.

Moreover, the board appointed the company’s representatives to the Capital Market Authority, the Saudi Exchange (Tadawul), and the Securities Depository Center Company (Edaa).
