Yamama liquidates investment in Kuwait Sudan holding

Yamama Cement Company decided to liquidate its investment in the Kuwait Sudan Holding (KSH) where it owned 6.67% of the company’s paid-up capital (SAR 14,190,000 only). KSH’s liquidation committee approved the liquidation decision on 19/12/2011.

The company offloaded its stake of SAR 13,975,520, recording a net loss of SAR 214,480. The loss was reported in the results of fourth quarter 2011.
