The united electronic company's CEO Mr. Mohamed Fahmi submitted his resignation for personal reasons. The resignation which was accepted by the board of directors will be effective as of June 1st, 2013.
However, Mr. Fahmi will retain his BOD membership for its current session which will end on Feb. 16, 2015.
In conjunction with this resignation, Extra BOD has appointed a new CEO Mr. Kareem Al Zahaby.
Mr. alzahaby has held managerial positions in Proctor and Gamble, SAVOLA andDANONE, the statement from Extra said.
The tasks transfer to the new CEO will start gradually until he takes over on June 1st, 2013.
