SAPTCO appoints Al-Hathloul as non-executive chairman

Saudi Public Transport Co. (SAPTCO) said on Monday Hathloul Al-Halthloul, representative of the transportation ministry, has been appointed as non-executive chairman for a three-year term as per a royal decree.

 

General Abdel Rahman al-Moqbel has been appointed as representative of the interior ministry, the company said in a statement to the Saudi bourse, Tadawul. Moreover, Soliman al-Tuwaijri and Abdullah al-Aqeel represent the finance and commerce & industry ministries respectively.

 

SAPTCO’s major shareholder is the finance ministry’s Public Investment Fund (PIF). It operates buses across the kingdom.
