SAMA’s Assets up to SAR 2803bn in May

The Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency’s (SAMA), the Saudi Central Bank, assets rose to SAR 2803bn in May, SAR 14bn increase compared to April 2014.

SAMA’s May 2014’s assets rose SAR 201bn compared to its May 2013 figure; according to SAMA’s monthly news letter released today.

SAMA’s investments in foreign securities, which represent more than 70% of its assets, rose for the 52th consecutive month to SAR 2059bn by the end of May 2014, 11% increase compared to the same month in 2013.
