Employees accuse GASCO of ‘illegal’ termination: Report

Saudi Arabia’s labor ministry and the Saudi National Anti-corruption Commission (NAZAHA) are investigating complaints raised by 83 employees against the National Gas Industrial Co (GASCO).

The employees are accusing GASCO of illegally sacking them from their positions without notice, according to a report published in Al-Watan newspaper.


The terminated employees said they are demanding their rights based on Saudi Arabia’s labor law. 

According to the report, the former​ employees are from the company’s branches in Riyadh, Jeddah, and Asir. The workers filed complaints at their respective cities’ labor offices.
