Zain Saudi slashes call rates to SAR 0.19 per minute

Zain Saudi said on Thursday that it has reduced call rates to SAR 0.19 per minute to all networks in the kingdom, giving its subscribers a 45 percent discount from the previous off-network rate of SAR 0.35 per minute.

 

The move comes after a decision from the Saudi communications and information technology commission (CITC) to slash call termination fees by 40 percent.

 

The telco said the new rates will give users more choice, as well as access to improved 4G services and customer care.

 

The company added that it would hope to see further reductions in call connection fees.
