Etihad Etisalat Co. (Mobily) announced on Monday that it had signed a three-year contract with American technology and outsourcing firm Accenture worth SAR 180 million that will enable the telco to speed up delivery and improve customer service.

Under the agreement, Accenture will provide Mobily with application development services, including software development, delivery and implementation across its business support systems (BSS) platforms and technologies.

Ahmed Alsuwaiyan, Mobily’s general manger for customer management and applications, said the move should also aid cost management across the company’s BSS operations.

Accenture, a global company which also specializes in management consulting, currently operates in more than 120 countries.
