Alujain’s Natpet halts production at PP complex after glitch

National Petrochemical Industrial Co. (Natpet), a 57.4 percent owned subsidiary of Alujain, has halted production at its propylene and polypropylene (PP) complex in Yanbu Industrial City due to a technical glitch.

 

Operations are expected to resume within six days after repairs, Alujain said in a statement to Tadawul.

 

Financial impact of the shutdown is estimated at SAR 11.3 million, which will be reflected on Q3 statements.
