Nadec appoints firm to conduct land survey

22/11/2016 Argaam

Nadec has appointed a consulting company to conduct a land survey on its agricultural plots after meeting with officials from the Saudi ministry of environment, the company said in a statement.

Survey work started in October and is expected to finish within nine months, the company said, adding that any financial impact will be revealed after the survey is completed.

In February 2015, the Saudi cabinet passed a number of regulations needed to assess the ownership of land plots belonging to agri-firms in order to ensure that the lands are being fully utilized for their purpose.
