Petro Rabigh suspends work at petrochemicals complex

Saudi Arabia's Rabigh Refining Petrochemical Company (Petro Rabigh) has suspended operations on Thursday at the petrochemicals complex, the company said in a statement to Tadawul on Sunday.

 

The precautionary measure which began at 1800 on Jan 19, was due to a technical malfunction at one of the generators and didn’t cause any material damage.

 

The generator began operating again on Saturday and the petrochemicals complex will gradually be operations starting Sunday, it said.

 

The financial impact of the suspension will be announced later.
