Saudi GACA to shut down Qatar Airways offices

06/06/2017 Argaam

Saudi Arabia’s General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) said it will shut down Qatar Airways’ offices in the Kingdom within 48 hours, and will cancel all licenses granted to the airline and its staff.

GACA also called on all passengers, who were flying to or from Qatar to get refunds on their tickets.

Saudi Arabia, Egypt, the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain severed diplomatic relations with Qatar on Monday accusing Qatar of supporting terrorism and further destabilizing the Middle East. As a result they were cutting links to the country by land, sea and air.
