19/07/2017 Argaam

King Abdullah Economic City (KAEC), an integrated city developed by Tadawul-listed Emaar Economic City, has received bids from local and international companies for licenses to build car manufacturing and spare parts units, Saudi-based Al-Yaum daily reporting, citing unnamed sources at KAEC’s Industrial Valley.

Bids will be officially announced soon in compliance with the rules set by the Kingdom’s Capital Market Authority (CMA).

The city is in talks with major car and spare parts manufacturers to underscore the advantages offered to investors by the Industrial Valley, the sources added.
