Saudi Arabia will introduce a number of projects for the development of the holy sites (Al Mashaaer Al Mugaddassah), state-owned news agency SPA has reported, citing Governor of Makkah Prince Khalid bin Faisal bin Abdulaziz, advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques.

“They are being finalized to be submitted to the ministry of Hajj and Umrah”, he added.

Makkah Region Development Authority has implemented around SAR 300 million worth of projects this year, aimed at improving services, Argaam earlier reported.
