Aldrees elects board members for upcoming term

Aldrees Petroleum and Transport Services Co.’s general assembly has elected board members for the upcoming three-year term that starts on Dec. 22, 2017, the company said in a regulatory statement.

 

The new board will include Hamad Aldrees, Abdulmohsen Aldrees, Hussein Al Athel, Ahmad Al Akeil, Eid Al Shamri, Abdulilah Aldrees and Adel Al Otaibi.

 

Shareholders have also named Eid Al Shamri as head of the board’s audit committee. Saad Aldrees, Adel Al Otaibi and Khalid Khowaiter were elected as members of the same committee.

 

During the meeting held on Saturday, shareholders approved updating the code of corporate governance, which includes the policies of the company's board of directors, its remunerations, committees, and rules of the audit committee.
