Saudi Arabia's King Salman Bin Abdulaziz said on Wednesday that he ordered ministers and government officials to facilitate procedures required for providing high-quality services for citizens, and expanding programs that cater for their demands, particularly in the housing sector.

Some government bodies saw restructuring and several decisions were taken to fulfill the society needs, as part of the Kingdom's development plans and target reforms, the Saudi Press Agency reported, citing King Salman's speech to the Shura Council.

The Saudi monarch also vowed to continue fighting corruption and work on enabling the private sector to become a partner in the Kingdom's development and growth.

The government is keen to focus on maintaining development, provide continued support to attract more local and foreign investments, adopt an economic diversification strategy and develop highly-competitive economic infrastructure.

The Saudi Vision 2030 aims to enhance the Kingdom's development through diversification of its economic base and income resources, King Salman added.
