UAE fuel prices to rise by 4% in January

Fuel prices in the United Arab Emirates will increase by at least four percent in January 2018, according to the ministry of energy.

 

Starting January 1,  Super 98 will cost AED 2.24 per liter (up 4.18 percent from AED 2.15), Special 95 will cost AED 2.12 (up 3.92 percent from AED 2.04), and E Plus will be priced at AED 2.05 (up 4.1 percent from AED 1.97).

 

Diesel price will increase by 5.9 percent to AED 2.33 per liter from AED 2.20 in December, the ministry said.

 

Five percent VAT, which will be applicable on petrol prices from Jan. 1, are included in the prices, it added.
