Dubai's Arabtec reports profit of AED 123 mln for FY2017

Dubai-listed contractor Arabtec Holding PJSC on Wednesday reported a net profit attributable to parent of AED 123.1 million for fiscal year 2017 compared to a net loss of AED 3.4 billion in FY 2016, it said in a statement to Dubai Financial Market on Wednesday.

 

Revenue rose to AED 9.1 billion versus AED 8.16 billion a year ago, based on the company's preliminary unaudited financial results.

 

Backlog remained strong at AED 17.2 billion, supported by AED 2.2 billion worth of contracts in Q4, 2017, the contractor said.
