Sky Prime wins ground services license

22/03/2018 Argaam

Sky Prime Aviation Services on Mar. 20 was granted the ground services license 151 by the General Authority for Civil Aviation, the carrier’s acting chief executive, Mamdouh Mokhtar, said in a statement obtained by Argaam.

Sky Prime has become Saudi Arabia’s first private airline operator that secured this license.

The Riyadh-based firm will provide integrated ground services solutions for all customers and operators.

The ground services unit will provide passenger services in private airports, baggage collection and transfer, cleaning and fueling services, Mokhtar added.

In 2015, Swiss company Swissport had won the second license to provide ground services at Saudi Arabia’s airports, alongside Tadawul-listed Saudi Ground Services Co.
