Saudis in workforce reach 3 mln in Q4

The number of Saudi employees in workforce stood at 3.16 million by the end of Q4 2017, an increase of 100,100 citizens when compared to the previous quarter, data from the General Authority for Statistics showed.

 

The number of foreign workers dropped by 277,000 to 10.4 million in the same period.

Saudi labor force rose by 102,400 citizens in 2017, with the number of expats dropping to 10.41 million, compared to 10.88 million in 2016.

 

The Kingdom aims to reduce unemployment to 7 percent under Vision 2030, Argaam earlier reported.
