Al Rajhi Capital maintains lead as top brokerage in April

Al Rajhi Capital maintained its lead among Saudi brokerages in April for the seventeen month in a row, with a market share of nearly 21 percent (SAR 45.25 billion), data compiled by Argaam showed.

 

Aljazira Capital came second with an 11.47 percent (SAR 24.77 billion) share, then NCB Capital with a market share of SAR 22.71 billion.

 

Alistithmar Capital retreated to fourth place with SAR 22.53 billion.

 

The combined trading value of brokerage firms increased by around SAR 41 billion month-on-month to SAR 215.9 billion in April.

 

As for Nomu Parallel Market, the number of brokerage firms operating dropped to 23 in April compared to 24 in March.

 

Alistithmar Capital claimed the lead on Nomu transactions in April with a 17.12 percent market share (SAR 21.7 million), followed by HSBC Saudi Arabia.

 

Meanwhile, the number of brokerage firms working on exchange-traded funds (ETFs) in April stood at 11, compared to 12 firms in the previous month.

 

Falcom Financial Services grabbed the biggest market share at 99.65 percent (SAR 215 million) of total transactions.
