Jeddah’s King Abdulaziz International Airport (KAIA) has started pilot operations in terminal 1 today.

The first flight was launched today to Gurayat Domestic Airport.

Going forward, the airport’s capacity is forecast to reach 100 million passengers annually.

In May 2017, Saudi Arabia’s General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) awarded Singapore-based Changi Airport Group a 20-year contract to operate Jeddah’s King Abdulaziz International Airport.
