Saudi Arabian Football Federation is suing Mobile Telecommunications Company Saudi Arabia (Zain Saudi) for infringement of trade rights, by using them for promotional advertisements and marketing campaign, the federation said in a statement Tuesday.

It added that Zain Saudi used the name and logo of the federation and the national team, without following the regulatory procedures regarding the trade rights.

The federation also noted that the General Sports Authority had earlier issued a statement warning the companies and individuals against violation of trade rights.
