Saudi Arabia sets Aug. 13 as deadline for contractor prequalification

31/07/2018 Argaam

Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Labor and Social Development has set Aug. 13 as the deadline for the contractor prequalification program.

Contractors will be invited to bid for the ministry’s national platform, to serve the government subsidy schemes, in line with the Kingdom’s Fiscal Balance Program, the ministry said in a statement.

Winners will be announced on Sept. 9 and the project will be implemented within 30 months from the award date.

The plan aims to enhance the Citizen’s Account program, to serve as an umbrella for similar schemes.

A government subsidy platform will be built to include the Citizen’s Account program ahead of including other schemes for security and social care.
