06/02/2019 Argaam

Saudi Ministry of Labor in March will launch 68 initiatives to boost Saudization rates in the private sector, labor minister Ahmed Al-Rajhi told CNBC Arabia.

“Only 40 initiatives have been launched so far,” Al-Rajhi said.

In October, the ministry launched 68 initiatives to enhance growth rates in the private sector entities, provide more job opportunities, support entrepreneurs and increase work competitiveness.

They also targeted increasing training opportunities, improving the business environment, and enhancing decision-making skills.

Additionally, these initiatives will likely increase Saudization rates in segments like telecommunication, healthcare, real estate, contracting, restaurants and cafes.
