Southern Province Cement Co. shareholders will discuss the board’s recommendation to pay a cash dividend at 5%, or SAR 0.50 a share for H2 2022, during the ordinary general meeting (OGM) scheduled for May 30, according to a statement to Tadawul.

Shareholders will also vote on authorizing the board to pay an interim dividend for 2023 on a quarterly or semiannual basis, the statement added.
They will also vote on concluding an Islamic credit facility contract with a local bank at SAR 1.4 billion with a tenor of more than three years to finance the construction of a production line with a capacity of 5,000 tons/day and the infrastructure of another production line, with the same capacity, in Jazan Cement plant.
