In 2012, it was established in Al Khobar as a limited liability company under the name Retal Urban Development Co. with capital of SAR 500,000. It converted into a single-person limited liability company in 2016, reverted to a limited liability company the following year, transitioned into a closed joint-stock company in 2020, and eventually became a public joint-stock company in 2022.
