Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication Co. (GO) expects to disclose its quarterly and annual financial results for the period ending on March 31, 2019 by the end of September 2019, the company said in a bourse statement.
It is difficult to measure the financial impact that might arise from delaying the financial statements, the telecom operator added.
GO was unable to reveal its financial statements for Q1 of the period ending on June 30, 2018, as its current external editor KPMG needs more time to finalize the auditing, which is expected by Aug.18, 2019.
As for the remaining delayed results, appointing a new external auditor is still pending the approval of shareholders. A general assembly meeting is scheduled to take place on Aug. 4, the statement added.
