10 things to watch on Tadawul today

Here are a few things you need to know as Saudi stocks start trading on Thursday.

1) Samba Financial Group reported a net profit of SAR 2 billion for H1 2019, a decline of 16.25 percent year-on-year (YoY) due to higher operating expenses and increased credit impairment provisions. 

2) Bank AlJazira reported a net profit of SAR 486.8 million for H1 2019, a rise of 1.25 percent year-on-year (YoY), as operating income jumped by 7 percent on the increase of net exchange income.

3) Maharah Human Resources Company reported a net profit after zakat and tax of SAR 126 million for the first half of 2019, a 19.3 percent year-on-year (YoY) increase on higher revenues backed by both the corporate and retail segments.

4) Saudi Ground Services Co. will pay on Sept. 2 a 10 percent cash dividend for the first half of 2019, at SAR 1 per unit, amounting to SAR 188 million.

5) Bank Albilad posted a net profit of SAR 590 million for H1 2019, a rise of 15 percent year-on-year (YoY) on higher total operating income.

6) Al Abdullatif Industrial Investment Co. reported a net profit of SAR 7.51 million for H1 2019, a decline of 25.64 percent year-on-year (YoY) due to higher sales revenue, and lower cost of sales. 

7) Alkhabeer REIT Fund will pay a 2.26 percent cash dividend for the period from March 20, 2019 until June 30, 2019, at SAR 0.226 per unit, amounting to SAR 15.02 million.

8) Saudi Industrial Services Co. (SISCO) posted a more than threefold increase year-on-year (YoY) in net profit after zakat and tax to SAR 38.2 million for H1 2019, on higher income from ports amid improved volumes and tariffs.

9) The National Company for Glass Industries (Zoujaj) reported a net profit after zakat and tax of SAR 3.2 million for H1 2019, a decline of 86.03 percent year-on-year (YoY) due to lower operating profit.

10) Brent crude on Thursday gained 45 cents to reach $65.17/bbl, while WTI crude fell 70 cents to reach $57.88/bbl.
