Saudi Arabia has issued more than 1,324 investment licenses in the telecom and information sectors last year, Al-Eqtisadiah reported.
Licenses issued for investments in Makkah stood at 287, followed by Riyadh at 205, Jazan at 160 and Asir at 150 investment licenses.
Tabuk saw 110 investment licenses issued in 2018, followed by the Eastern Province at 97, the Norther borders at 78, Madinah at 65, Hail 50, Qassim 46, and 33 investment licenses for Al-Baha.
Meanwhile, new licenses issued to investors in the wholesale and retail sectors reached 19,515 licenses in 2018, the newspaper added.
