Boeing strategy is to continue to harness Saudi Arabia’s growth and development potential to create a self-sustaining domestic aviation environment, Asharq Al-Awsat reported, citing Michael Arthur president of Boeing International.
Boeing has made significant investments to develop the industries, local engineering and industrial skills, he added.
“Saudi Arabia is one of our key partners, which is driving us to make the necessary changes to be able to grow in the future and to strengthen our partnerships with local companies to support the Kingdom's Vision 2030,” said Leanne Caret, CEO of Boeing Defense, Space, and Security.
The US-based aviation giant said it has entrusted all of its defense operations in Saudi Arabia to the head of its Saudi unit Ahmed Jazzar.
