Alinma Investment company has adopted investment product diversification across various assets, as it works on more than one equity fund and multi-asset funds, acting CEP Mazen Baghdadi told Argaam.
The firm has also eyed REIT funds and diversifying its investment base in infrastructure and superstructure, in addition to funds investing in the residential and commercial sectors, he said on the sidelines of Euromoney Saudi Arabia 2019.
Alinma Investment runs endowment funds conservatively in the short-term to be able to grow its long-term assets and distribute profit on an annual basis, he said.
On Tadawul’s inclusion in emerging market indices, Baghdadi said that this step attracts both active and inactive liquidity to the market, as active investors enter the market upon the existence of investment opportunities.
