Saudi Arabia’s General Entertainment Authority (GEA) aims to provide 250,000 full-time job opportunities in the entertainment sector by 2030, Al-Eqtisadiah newspaper reported, citing Chairman Turki Al-Sheikh.
Riyadh Season alone has provided 46,000 full and part-time jobs to Saudis, Al-Sheikh said, adding that GEA has been operating according to a clear strategy since its inception.
As a first step, GEA targets to enhance domestic tourism moving forward to attracting tourists from the Middle East and worldwide, he also stated during the Entertainment Industry Forum 2019.
