10 things to watch on Tadawul today

Here are a few things you need to know as Saudi stocks start trading on Thursday.

1) National Company for Learning and Education’s (NCLE) board of directors recommended an 8 percent cash dividend for the fiscal year ended Aug. 31, 2019, at SAR 0.8 per share, amounting to SAR 34.4 million.

2) Saudi Real Estate Co. (Al Akaria) reported a net profit after zakat and tax dropped 44 percent year-on-year (YoY) to SAR 49 million in the first nine months of 2019.

3) Shares of Thob Al Aseel Co. will debut on the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) as of Sunday, Nov. 10, 2019 with the symbol (4012) under consumer discretionary sector.

4) Al Hassan Ghazi Ibrahim Shaker Co.’s (Shaker) net loss after zakat and tax narrowed by 56 percent year-on-year (YoY) to SAR 45.3 million, driven by a 16.2 percent increase in sales.

5) Saudi Airlines Catering Co.’s board of directors has recommended a 15 percent quarterly cash dividend for the third quarter of the fiscal year 2019, at SAR 1.5 per share, amounting to SAR 123 million.

6) Saudi Arabia Refineries Co. (SARCO) reported a net profit of SAR 8.12 million for the first nine months of 2019, a rise of 56.66 percent year-on-year (YoY).

7) The Mediterranean and Gulf Insurance and Reinsurance Co. reported a net profit before Zakat of SAR 16.4 million in the first nine months of 2019, compared to a total net losses of SAR 111.7 million in the same period in 2018.

8) Jarir Marketing Company’s board of directors recommended a cash dividend of 25 percent of the capital (equivalent to SAR 2.5 per share) for the third quarter of FY2019.

9) Chubb Arabia Cooperative Insurance Co. reported a net profit before zakat of SAR 22.5 million for the first nine months of 2019, a decline of 13.8 percent year-on-year (YoY).

10) Brent crude on Thursday declined 6 cents to reach $61.68 per barrel whereas WTI Crude also decreased 5 cents to reach $56.30/bbl.
